Since 1964 Herman’s Hermits have been recording music and touring the world, including the USA over 150 times. Drummer Barry Whitwam is the only original member from those early days, and has surrounded himself with musicians from other bands of the era.
The current line-up of Barry, Geoff Foot, Simon Van Downham and Kevan Lingard (who you may recognise from Coronation Street) have recorded twenty one of the ‘Hermits best known songs, which they’ll be selling as they tour this country. The advantage of this is that what you’ll get on stage is what you get on this album, including live versions of Jezabel and The End of the World. Plus there’s an autographs section on the liner notes.
Studio highlights include No Milk Today, Something Is Happening and I’m Into Something Good.
