It’s time to ditch the dark and heavy winter clothes and go for some colorful, trendy, must-have pieces for the Summer season. Summer fashion is all about bright eye-popping colors and bold dazzling prints. We have compiled what we think are the fabulous trends that will make your Summer wardrobe sizzle!

Red
Red is the most visible and lively of all colors. Like the classic Hollywood screen sirens, wear candy apple red frocks with matching lipstick.

Overstated Patterns
Prints and patterns are fun and can make a real fashion statement. Designers are dabbling in splendid patterns; it’s all about luxe, lavishly embroidered fabrics and outfits compiled with a sense of aristocratic propriety. Anyone can wear patterns. Be daring and mix and match print combinations. If you love florals, show off your love in 3D with appliqué flowers and ruffled embellishments.

Oversized Hats
Some of the best fashion trends come from our favourite celebs, and this summer the must have accessory is the oversized 70's floppy hat.

Thanks to The Iron Lady, and a progression into the later 60's in Mad Men, lady-like fitted jackets and pencil skirts are set to be essential for summer.

Gold
Last year, many metallic threads were steely and cool, but things are set to warm up. Think Egyptian, strikingly bright golds are back with a 70's twist.

Neons and Pastels
Shockingly bright pink, aqua, lime or yellow, with camel tones equals perfect contrast. Or take a trip to an old school ice cream parlour, and layer pastel shades together.
