This hack will give you perfectly cooked pasta everytime

Perfectly cooked pasta isn't easy to achieve. You need to watch it boil like a hawk to achieve that perfect density. 

But, thanks to food author Harold McGee's pasta cooking technique, you may find that getting perfect pasta is all about the pan.

Yes, using a pan, not a pot!  Here's how it works:


Step 1: Reach for a frying pan instead of a pot.

Step 2: Put your pasta in the pan, before the water.

Step 3: Pour enough water into the pan so that the water is covering the noodles by at least a centimetre.

Step 4: Turn your stove to medium-high heat, and stir occasionally.

That's it! Your pasta will cook in about 10 minutes.
