Paul Dainty says he's working on bringing two of the world's hottest acts to New Zealand.

He wants Guns N' Roses to perform at Auckland's Western Springs Stadium, and Adele to be hosted at Eden Park.

If successful, both stadium-sized shows are likely to be huge drawcards.

Guns N' Roses were last here in 2007, but the line-up currently touring includes reunited original members Axl Rose, guitarist Slash, Duff McKagan and Dizzy Reed.

They reformed to headline Coachella and are in the middle of a world tour, with dates stretching until November.

British singer Adele is one of the world's most popular artists, but only performs infrequently live and has never performed in New Zealand.

Because of her infrequent shows, she has been forced to take steps to stop the rampant ticket scalping that happens for many of her shows.

She also has tour dates scheduled until the middle of November.

Dainty has plenty of pulling power: he was the one he helped get Prince here earlier this year, and recently hosted Katy Perry and last week's Billy Crystal shows.
