Ross Kemp denied accomodation

Ross Kemp, the EastEnders actor received no star treatment in Camp Waipu Cove in Northland this week.

After touring Auckland and Christchurch last month, telling audiences about his time spent in extreme places, Kemp appears to be touring the tip of the North Island this week, hoping to stay in some of the beachfront accommodation along the way.

Although the campground had no room for Kemp over the weekend, a staff member took a photo of him in the reception posting this caption to Facebook;

"Who knows who this man is?" The post said. "He came to check into one of our cabins but unfortunately we were fully booked."

Kemp appears to have taken the news in his stride in the photo, smiling and giving a thumbs up.
