The New Zealander that has worked with Sir Elton John

Earlier this year, Parris Goebel announced she was working with legendary music icon Sir Elton John on a new project called The Cut. 

The project was created in order to produce music videos for three of Sir Elton's hits in celebration of the 50th anniversary of his songwriting partnership with Bernie Taupin. 

Goebel was made a mentor and put in charge of the video for Bennie and the Jets, the focus for which was choreography. 

She trawled through the many video submissions from dance hopefuls to narrow down a shortlist of five entries for Sir Elton and his judging panel to choose from.

Goebel searched for the "freshest and most unique dance video", and said she scrolled through the entries like she would scroll through YouTube looking for something that would catch her attention.
