Fans hit back at 'The Chase' after controversial name change

His name alone is enough to make contestants tremble in their boots whilst the stand at the foot of the desk, but Shaun Wallace's stage name has undergone a wee refresher that's annoyed a few people.

Shaun's former handle 'The Dark Destroyer' has lost a word and he now calls himself 'The Destroyer'.

It is pretty obvious why the show decided to change his name, but some fans haven't taken the news well.

The name change may have been influenced by a few fans that weren't too impressed with Shaun's nickname in the first place:
