Do you get worried that your pooch is bored and miserable without your company when you're away from the house? One inventor has come up with a dog-entertaining robot that he can control remotely.

The gizmo connects master with his mate through Skype and the 'Darwin Bot' - [ the dog's name is Darwin] moves around the house with an Xbox 360 controller.

Pooch can play 'fetch' using the integrated ball launcher, with the robot retrieving the ball with a retractable arm for the next throw and rewards are at the ready with treats.

Home alone is a worry no more - it's a dog's life!
