A kiwi living in Australia, has discovered a kiwi on Mars!
New Zealander Ned Walker is following the travels of Nasa's Mars rover Curiosity and says he was surprised at the find and had to share the discovery with other Kiwis.
"I have a huge interest in the Mars Curiosity Rover and I like to look at the raw images Nasa uploads onto its site each day from the rover's cameras.
The 'bird' in the picture is a shadow cast by a martian rock.
The rover Curiosity landed on Mars in August and its older brother, Opportunity, has been on the planet since 2004.
