Kapa haka group goes viral with stunning Te Reo rendition of Adele's hit 'Easy On Me'

Kapa Haka group Angitu, from Auckland, have found online fame after their incredible cover of Adele's latest hit 'Easy On Me' in Te Reo Māori went viral.

The group performed the powerful cover as their Whakawatea during Tāmaki Herenga Waka, Herenga Tangata Hakangahau 2022.

Taking to the stage at Spark Arena Angitu blew everyone away with their performance, which featured an incredible solo by Awatea Wihongi.

The video, posted to the Whakaata Māori Facebook page, has since received over 20,000 likes and been viewed over 446,000 times.

We're not sure if Adele has seen it yet, but we're sure she would be very proud.
