Back in November 2016, Michael Bublé shocked his fans with the news his then three-year-old son, Noah Bublé, was undergoing treatment for cancer.

But only now has the Canadian crooner opened up about how Sir Elton John helped him through the devastating experience – even though they didn't know each other.

During an interview with Magic Breakfast in the UK, the 46-year-old revealed the 'Tiny Dancer' hitmaker would call him up every Sunday without fail.

Calling John a "beautiful man", he said: "I didn’t know him and he called me every single Sunday. Every single Sunday he would call to tell me that he and David were praying for me and that they loved us and would send us toys.

"That’s who he is, that’s who he really is, so Elton John, thank you."

Following his son's cancer diagnosis, Bublé immediately cancelled his tour and all his music plans so he could be there through the family ordeal which he has since described as "hell."

The family watched as the youngster went through gruelling chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments.

Luckily, in 2017, the family released a statement saying Noah had beaten the disease and was now cancer-free.

As well as Noah, Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato also share son Elias, six, and three-year-old daughter Vida.

The couple are set to welcome their fourth child together later this year.
