One lucky American Idol contestant had all his dreams come true; when he got to sing with the one and only Michael Bublé!

After singing the opening verse, the Canadian crooner welcomed Top 7 finalist Christian Guardino to the stage to belt out a stunning duet of Nat King Col's 1954 hit 'Smile.'

Bublé and the 21-year-old singer blew the crowd away with their flawless vocals, which perfectly complemented each other.

The duet comes just two weeks after the 46-year-old surprised Guardino during an episode of the talent show, inviting him to sing a duet with him during the finale after the contestant had performed one of Bublé's songs.

"Are you kidding me? Are you serious?" Guardino said at the time, before accepting the offer wholeheartedly.

'Smile' is based on an instrumental theme used in the soundtrack for Charlie Chaplin’s 1936 film, Modern Times.
