Are you using your microwave correctly? Turns out I'm not!
And you're probably not too ...
Taking to Twitter, Dr Michelle Dickinson (aka Nanogirl) revealed how microwaves really work and where you should actually place your food to avoid cold spots.
"To prevent your food getting stuck in a cold spot and to help it heat up more uniformly, it needs to travel around as much of the microwave as possible," Dickinson declared while standing in front of a microwave.
"Which it does when placed on the edge of the spinning plate and NOT in the middle."
