Robert Downey Jr. and Susan Downey welcome a baby girl

Robert Downey Jr. and wife Susan have welcomed a baby daughter into the world.
The 49-year-old actor took to Facebook on Wednesday to announce the newborn's arrival and reveal her name.
'Yep...Avri Roel Downey joined the party @ 3:22 a.m. on November 4th,' he wrote. 'She's 7 lbs even, spans 20 inches, and is accompanied by a variety of Susan's traits that have seemingly overwritten my "junk DNA."'
The proud father joked: 'After 9 months of intensive development, Team Downey is pleased to announce our 2014 fall/winter project.
'Principal photography commenced 11-14 and will continue until she says, "Dad! You are embarrassing me… I'm 30, this has gotta stop."
Avri is the couple's second child together and will join two-year-old son Exton.
The Iron Man star also has a 21-year-old son Indio from his previous marriage to actress Deborah Falconer.
The couple, who have been married for nine years, looked more in love than ever when they graced the red carpet at the 2014 BAFTA Los Angeles Jaguar Britannia Awards last week.
Robert and Susan met on the set of Gothika in 2003 and he credits his wife with helping him kick his drug and alcohol addiction.
'The old saying is true — behind every good man there's an incredible woman,' he said. 'I owe a huge amount — if not all — of my success to Susan.
'We make a great team, and all that luck I spoke about, that's Susan,' he once gushed about his other half.
