The BIZARRE job you could do for the Queen

The Queen has a lot of paid helpers. From butlers, to assistants, to chefs, the Queen is tended to hand and foot. 

We say that quite literally, as she actually is tended to by the feet, as one particular paying job that you can do for Her Majesty ensures she never suffers from the sore feet you get when breaking in a new pair of shoes. 

Yes, according to the Standard, the Queen has hired a Royal Shoe Breaker-Inner: someone to walk around the palace's hallowed hallways every time she gets a new pair of kicks, in order to prevent blisters from forming.

If you have a size UK4 foot (that's a 6 in US size) then you could just be the next Royal Shoe Breaker-Inner. Imagine that job title on your CV!

While the job may not currently be on offer, you can take this time to build up our experience of breaking in shoes, so that when the opportunity arises, you will be a shoo-in.
