It has been the talk of the town for a while now, the marriage of the Duchess of Cambridge's sister to someone that no one really knows.

The ceremony looked amazing and the reception was something taken right out of a fairy tale, but there's one question that everyone wants the answer to; how much did it all cost?

There are rumors of it being upwards of $1.2 million, but we've got the breakdown of the whole thing right here.

When the invitations cost around $14 each, and you're inviting about 350 people, that's already $5000 on cards alone.

Then you account for the what the bride was wearing, a $50,000 dress and $900 worth of hair preparation.

Transportation to and from the event was sponsored by Range Rover, so they're saving a few pennies there, but it was the fleet of vintage cars that the bridal party arrived in that would set them back around $30,000

The huge glass marque that the reception was held in took three days to build, was filled with spring blooms and apparently costed $130,000 for the construction alone.

The beautiful flowers that covered the grounds were a cool $20,000.

There was no shortage of bubbly at the event, considering that there was 150 bottles of Dom Ruinart 2002 champagne totaling $26,000 and 750 bottles of Nyetimber 2010 Blanc de Noir Millington wine that cost $66,000 alone.

And finally, the amazing multi tiered wedding cake was said to have cost around $3000.

With all this adding up, and a few more things that we have probably missed, it comes as no surprise that this event was said to have cost the family over $1 million easily.
