Meghan Markle stepped out today looking gorgeous for her first solo royal engagement with the Queen today.

The pair set off on the Royal Train and traveled overnight to Chester in Northern England to open a bridge and a theatre there. The Princess looked amazing in a cream dress made by the same designer as her wedding dress, Givenchy. The Queen chose a bold Green outfit, which was in honour of the 'green for Grenfell' tribute for the anniversary of the Grenfell fire.

The pair seemed to be having a lot of fun during their day of engagements, seen laughing like teenagers during the opening of the Mersey Gateway Bridge. They then watched a performance by the children of the Andrew Curphey Theatre company where the pair were in high spirits as they laughed and smiled throughout the show.

The Pair then attended the official opening of the Storyhouse theatre. Outside they observed the national 72-second silence for the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy and headed inside afterward where they watched children perform and also met a group of Syrian refugees who were partaking in a craft project.

To wrap up the day the two then headed out to meet the crowds of people wanting to catch a glimpse of their pair before heading to Chester Town Hall for lunch and then back on the train home.

The two seemed to have a very busy day full of laughs and those who were lucky enough to meet them said that Meghan was incredibly lovely and was gushing over Harry. Even telling one member of the crowd "He's is the best Husband ever".
