Multiple fatalities after explosions at UK concert

Police have confirmed that 19 people have been killed after multiple blasts at an Ariana Grande concert inside the Manchester Arena.

Video footage has shown people fleeing in tears from the venue right after the concert had finished.

Manchester police tweeted this picture about an hour after it happened.

According to one concert goer, Ariana had just finished her last song when the explosions started going off.

"Suddenly everybody started screaming and running for the exit.

We could hear the police and ambulance sirens. It was terrifying.

There were thousands of people trying to get out at once. They were all screaming and crying. The whole place smelled smokey and burned.

"The explosion sounded like it was inside the building somewhere."
