If you fancy hitting the Lotto jackpot tomorrow night, your best best is to put rubber on road - and quickly.

Lotto Powerball has jackpotted to $22 million for tonight's draw after it wasn't struck on Wednesday.

Lotto revealed the "luckiest" stores in the country yesterday, with Unichem Stortford Lodge Pharmacy in Hastings coming in at No1, having sold 39 first division winning tickets.

Lotto manager at the Hawkes Bay store Nanette Woodham has met a lot of winners during her 21 years at the store.

But the excitement of having a big winner never gets old.

"There's a real buzz every time we sell a big winning ticket - the customers get just as excited as we do. We absolutely love having winners come in - we just want more and more," said Ms Woodham.

"We definitely have a reputation as being a lucky store so have a lot of regulars who go out of their way to pick up their Lotto tickets from us."

Christchurch can claim two of the top five stores, with Pak'n Save Riccarton selling 30 first division prizes and Hornby Mall 25.

Lotto players can buy a ticket for tonight's $22 million Lotto Powerball draw from any Lotto retailer or online at MyLotto.co.nz.
