Paris Jackson got down on her hands and knees and scrubbed Michael Jackson's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame after it was vandalised.

The 20-year-old actress has lashed out at the "disrespectful" people who had scribbled red graffiti all over the monument, which was presented to the radio star Michael Jackson who shares the same name as her father, the King of Pop in 1984 - and spent all day trying to restore it to its original condition.

Taking to her Instagram account, the blonde beauty uploaded a photograph of her kneeling beside the star as she rubbed a damp cloth across the writing.

She captioned it: "some people have no f*****g respect. i understand that there is a difference between the radio emblem and the record, but a name is a name"

Paris later took to her Twitter account to state that she had grabbed a bottle of acetone after her friend informed her that the star had been defaced with red paint.

Paris' sweet words come less than a year after she paid a similar heartfelt tribute to her late father on what would've been his 58th birthday on August 29.
