When you're working in front of computer screen for much of your day, as many New Zealand employees do, you might notice that the brightness emitted by the machine can cause your eyes to feel strained.

The symptoms of eye strain include blurred vision, tired or 'burning' eyes or even a headache. If you’re experiencing these signs, it's important to see your optometrist for a recommendation as to what may help ease and prevent the strain.

In some cases, the solution can be as simple as adding an anti-reflective or anti-glare coating to your next pair of glasses. For more information on eye strain or anti-glare coatings, talk to your local Specsavers optometrist or visit www.specsavers.co.nz.
