Putri Ariani stunned America's Got Talent judges and left many viewers in tears after performing an original number.

As one audience member could later be overheard gushing: 'I thought it was a pop song - it was so good!'

Simon, impressed with Putri's vocal ability, then jumped onto the America's Got Talent stage and insisted that she perform another song, causing her to deliver a chills-inducing rendition of Elton John's "Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word."

The audience and judges loved both performances, and Howie Mandel said: "A lot of people don’t believe in angels, and I think one just landed on our stage. You’re a superstar."

Simon, before giving the young performer his Golden Buzzer, said: “You’ve got an amazing, distinctive voice. You have a kind of glow about you.”

Everyone watching at home seems to agree also.

'She brought me to tears; she definitely has talent,' one fan commented.

Another fan seconded that, commenting "I've cried like a baby watching this episode, it's a heart-touching. what a beautiful voice! she's just an angle 😇"

She already has a successful musical career in her native Indonesia, which started when she won Indonesia's Got Talent at age eight. She then went on a series of other singing shows, becoming a well-known face in her homeland.

She has released almost 30 songs on iTunes, with her most successful song Tak Mampu Lupa (Can't Forget) having received over 11 million Spotify plays to date.

Her heart is set on Julliard for college and from what we've seen she definitely has the talent to get there.

We can't wait to see where she goes from here!
