Adele's surprise for Celine

She's had to pull out of some of her Vegas concerts this week, after coming down the the flu.

And Celine Dion clearly felt terrible about it - known for hating to disappoint her legion of loyal fans.

But she was very much cheered up on Thursday evening when fellow singing superstar Adele came to see her show - and nipped backstage afterwards for a chat and a cuddle.

I had a pretty rough time during the last couple of weeks...a lot of people have been hit with cold and flu bugs... but I'm doing much better now. Wasn't able to do all my shows, but was thrilled that Adele came to one of them.... I love her so much!! // Les deux dernières semaines ont été difficiles pour moi. Proudly showcasing a Celine jumper, Adele, 29, joined the singer, 49, and posed for a snap, which Celine was sure to post to her Instagram.

'I had a pretty rough time during the last couple of weeks... a lot of people have been hit with cold and flu bugs... but I'm doing much better now,' she captioned the snap

'Wasn't able to do all my shows, but was thrilled that Adele came to one of them... I love her so much!' she added.

Adele posed playfully with Celine, hand on hip, as the A New Day Has Come songstress pointed at the image of herself on her pal's sweater.
