She first sang the song at the 2001 Emmy Awards following the 9/11 tragedy.

And now, nearly two decades later, Barbra Streisand has lent her soaring vocals once again to Rodgers and Hammerstein's ballad 'You'll Never Walk Alone,' but this time in tribute to essential workers fronting the coronavirus pandemic.

Taking to social media, the 78-year-old music legend posted a video of her performing the song, alongside a touching montage of health care workers, grocery store employees, delivery drivers and more as they continue to work amidst the pandemic.

"I sang this song almost 20 years ago after 9/11," reads a message from Streisand at the start of the clip. "Today we face another crisis, but I think the words still apply."

At the end of the video, the singer encourages everyone to donate to DirectRelief.org, a nonprofit that provides protective gear to health care workers fighting COVID-19.
