Billy Joel has some choice words for the vandals who broke into his Long Island house at the end of January.

Addressing the incident during his recent concert at Madison Square Garden, Joel dared the burglars to try again, noting that he's since taken measures to ensure his family's safety and peace of mind.

"Last time I was here, they hit my house," Joel said from the stage.

The 70-year-old star then added lightheartedly: "I guess everybody knows I'm not home."

"I got dogs, lights, guns, everything at the house now.

"I'm hoping they try it again. Come on, come on! Bring it!" he told the audience.

"Anyway, everybody's fine, everybody's good."

Police said 12 motorcycles and a home office had been vandalized at his family home, where he lives with his wife and their two baby daughters, during the weekend of Joel's January 25 show.

The burglars barged in by smashing a glass door in his garage, however, nothing was reported stolen.

No one has been charged as of yet.
