Björn Ulvaeus opens up about the possibility of ABBA being the subject of a biopic

We have some disappointing news for ABBA fans ...

If you were hoping the Swedish pop supergroup would follow the likes of Freddie Mercury and Elton John and have their life's story told in a feature-length film, you might be waiting a while.

Björn Ulvaeus has revealed he doesn't want ABBA to be the subject of a biopic because he would hate seeing an actor portray him on the big screen.

And he believes his bandmates - Agnetha Fältskog, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad - would feel the same.

Speaking about the possibility of a biopic, he said: "I don't think we would want that actually.

"I certainly know myself I wouldn't want an actor – not while I'm alive – to play me on the big screen and I don't think the others would like that either."
