Bradley Cooper famously based his singing as Jackson Maine in A Star Is Born on Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder.

Fast forward six years later and the pair have just teamed up for a surprise duet of Maybe It's Time.

"Please, would you join me in welcoming to the stage my great, great pal Bradley Cooper," the Pearl Jam frontman told the crowd.

Bradley joined Eddie on stage, sitting next to him as the pair traded verses.

In a 2018 interview, Bradley revealed that Eddie was the inspiration for his A Star Is Born alter-ego.

"I went up to Seattle and spent four or five days with him and I asked him 9,000 questions," he told Yahoo! Entertainment. "And he gave me minor, little things that only musicians know about what to do, just aesthetically and the inner workings."

However, Eddie was initially sceptical of Bradley's decision to sing on-screen.

“He was like, ‘What? Bro, don’t do that,’ ” he recalled.

But eventually, the rocker passed along notes for the songs in the movie.

“He was wonderful,” Bradley said.
