In honor of the 15th season of her self-titled daytime talk show, Ellen DeGeneres shared a rare retro snap of her teenage self last Tuesday.

'Here's a photo of me when I was just about 15 (why God, why?!),' the 59-year-old host - who boasts 146.7M followers - wrote on Instagram.

'Now I wanna see yours. Post a photo from when you were 15 with #ellen15 and you just might see yourself on my show next week!'

The 30-time Emmy winner's new season kicks off September 5 in syndication with Daddy’s Home 2 duo Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg.

But don't expect Ellen to go another 15 years on the air.

'I don't think my walker would get up those stairs!' DeGeneres joked to Good Housekeeping this month. 'But it's not scary at all anymore, which is why I'm starting to do stand-up again.'

Speaking of the number 15, it's also been 15 years since the Louisiana-born funnywoman taped a comedy special and she's currently writing one to stream on Netflix. 

'I wanted to do something completely different and give people a glimpse into my life and do things I don't do on the show,' the Finding Dory actress explained.

'The writing is scary. To sit down and write something out of nowhere that is funny enough to elicit noise out of someone else's body? It's hard.'
