The total of confirmed cases is 1,154 and the death toll remains at 22.
A total of 1,482 people are reported as having recovered from COVID-19 - one change on yesterday.
There is now no one left in New Zealand with a known active infection.
The Ministry has been notified by Auckland Regional Public Health that its remaining case, an Auckland woman in her 50s, has been symptom-free for 48 hours and is regarded as recovered.
She has now been released from isolation.
Her case had been linked to the St Margaret’s Hospital & Rest Home cluster in Auckland.
Cabinet is currently meeting to assess whether to move the country to alert level 1, which would see life mostly return to normal, except for strict border restrictions.
Jacinda Ardern had initially marked June 22 for D-Day to decide about moving to level 1, but she had left the door open to move the date forward.
