Dawn French looks unrecognisable as she surprises fans with natural grey haircut

After sporting the same black lob hairstyle for as long as we can remember, Dawn French has changed it up!

That's right. The Vicar of Dibley star has ditched her signature 'do colour and is embracing her natural grey hue.

The British actress debuted her au naturel hair on social media this week.

"Hair update. 3 shades of grey (working up to the 50)," she wrote alongside a selfie.

"I've chopped even more off. I'm thinking I'm giving it sold Jamie Lee Curtis.

"Husband says I'm giving it full Anne Hegerty ... righto," she said, referring to The Chase quiz master.

And her new look got the tick of approval from fans, with many commenting to compliment the 63-year-old.

"I love that you’re embracing the grey! It looks so chic on you," wrote one follower.

"It’s totally gorgeous - I love it," added another.
