Dolly Parton has just released a cover of We Are the Champions and We Will Rock You with a US Olympic-themed video celebrating athletes and sports fans ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which will start in exactly one year.

Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, Noah Lyles, and Katie Ledecky are some of the Team USA all-stars featured in the video.

"I love the Olympics!" Dolly said in a statement. "I do my best to plan my schedule to watch as much of it as I possibly can. I tape it just in case I miss the live action on a certain day and watch it back as soon as possible. I laugh, I cry, I scream, there are no losers in the Olympics as they have all spent a lifetime preparing, but I celebrate with the ones that go away with the gold, silver, and bronze medals."

The video starts with Dolly singing in an empty stadium, then as the song builds various clips of previous Olympics begin to flash across the screen. These images show not only celebration and success but also the struggles and hard times.

The video also features Dolly performing in front of a sparkling Eiffel Tower and finishes with her surrounded by fans in a full stadium all singing 'We Are The Champions' until it crescendos and transitions into 'We Will Rock You'.

We Are The Champions/We Will Rock You will appear on her upcoming album Rockstar, inspired by her 2022 induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The album is set for release on November 17.
