Dolly Parton's 1974 hit 'Jolene' is one of her most beloved songs, but prepare to hear it as you've never heard it before ...

While it has been over six months since Olivia Newton-John passed, fans were pleasantly surprised over the weekend after the late Grease star's final recording was released.

And it was none other than a duet with her good friend, Dolly.

Together the two cherished country queens performed a beautiful duet of the iconic folk song, which was recorded just months before Newton-John passed away.

The rendition will be featured on Newton-John's last album that she recorded before her death, Just the Two of Us: The Duets Collection, which is due out on May 5.

Other collaborators on the upcoming album include Mariah Carey, Michael McDonald, John Travolta, Barry Gibb, Vanessa Amorosi, Jon Secada, her daughter Chloe Lattanzi and more.

The legendary duo became friends in 1974 after Newton-John won the Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year award. She is still the only non-American-born artist to win that trophy.

What a beautiful gift.
