When Dolly Parton was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame she vowed to release a new rock-inspired album to retroactively make good on her rock icon status...

That album, Rockstar, was released earlier this month with 30 tracks and featuring a combination of covers and originals, and help from legendary guests such as Sting, Steven Tyler, Debbie Harry, Rob Halford, Elton John and of course goddaughter and frequent collaborator Miley Cyrus.

And now it has become her highest-ever charting album on the Billboard 200 this week, sitting at number 3!

This marks her third entry in the top 10, previously having reached number 6 twice - first in 1987 with Trio, a collaboration alongside Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris, and then again in 2014 with Blue Smoke.

Over the weekend Dolly also performed at the NFL’s Thanksgiving showdown, performing classics like Jolene and 9 to 5, before ending the show with Queen's We Are the Champions mashed up with We Will Rock You - which is also on Rockstar.

What are your thoughts on the album? We love it!
