Duran Duran is back!

If you were "hungry" for some new music from the '80s synth pop band, we have some good news for you!

The group have just unleashed a new single and announced plans for a new album for the first time in six years.

'Invisible' - a pop-dance track with dark undertones - will feature on the upcoming album, Future Past, which is set to be released on October 22.

And if that wasn't enough already, Duran Duran will also be performing the new single at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday.

Speaking about the track, lead singer Simon Le Bon said: "I'm not saying it's epic, but well ... yes I am."

He noted that 'Invisible' began as a story about a "one-sided relationship" and then transformed into "something much bigger."

"(Bassist) John and (drummer) Roger's rhythm track is mountainous; (keyboardist) Nick's melodies twist and soar; Graham's guitar is a knife. It feels exactly right for right now."

Duran Duran has been together since 1978, and its current lineup includes Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor.
