Ed Sheeran has officially released his brand new upbeat song 'Shivers'

Hot on the heels of 'Bad Habits' and 'Visiting Hours,' Ed Sheeran is back with another wild new song!

The British singer-songwriter dropped the third track off his upcoming album = (Equals), 'Shivers' - and we are loving it!

'Shivers' is a punchy blast of lovestruck pop, with Sheeran crooning over crisp handclaps, plucky strings, and the chipper strum of his guitar.

Previously speaking to BBC Radio 1 about the upcoming single, the 'Perfect' hitmaker told fans to get ready for a new sound, labelling the track as "really different" from the Ed Sheeran we are used to.

The 30-year-old also unveiled the music video for the track, which shows Sheeran and American actress AnnaSophia Robb play out a fantastical whirlwind romance.

= (Equals) marks Sheeran's first solo LP since 2017’s ÷ (Divide), which spawned the hits 'Shape of You' and 'Galway Girl.'
