Betty White opens up about the difficulties of dating at 94 years old

Dating can be hard at any age, but Golden Girls actress Betty White, 94, appears to be having a particularly hard time. 

In a new interview, White speculates that her age is deterring potential suitors. "Nobody asks me!" she said. "Who's gonna want to ask out a 94-year-old woman? It just doesn't happen."

When the TV host points out that maybe another 94-year-old would ask White out, she replies, "Oh, how old are you?"

White, who has been married three times but lost her third husband Allen Ludden to cancer in 1981, goes on to give out some love advice.

The key to a great relationship, she says, is kindness. "I think that you don't say the hurtful thing even if you're irritated or upset, because that sticks around, or that just chips off a little of the other guy's self-esteem," she points out. 

Betty is one wise woman.
