Carrie Fisher’s last ever text messages reveal her bond with her mother

Carrie Fisher’s tragically passed away on the 27th of December, and her mother Debbie Reynolds the following day. 

Carrie's half sisters, Joely and Tricia Fisher have now appeared on Good Morning America and revealed the details behind Carrie’s final hours.

The sisters said that they were texting with Carrie only hours before her passing, because she was worried about their “frail” mother, Debbie Reynolds.

Joely said, “We talked about age… cause she was floored that she had just turned 60… We talked about children, we talked about our frail mother.”

Joely also commented on how close Carrie and Debbie were, as soon as she herd the news they feared for Debbie instantly.

“I knew that if Carrie wasn’t going to survive this, that Debbie would not. You knew it.”
