Anyone who believes they are David Bowie’s secret love child should make their case now.

Lawyers handling the rock icon’s affairs have set a deadline for claims from those who think they may be entitled to a slice of his £80 million fortune.

They placed a notice in The Times newspaper yesterday saying that representations must be made before May 4.

Bowie had one child with each of his two wives, but confessed to being ‘incredibly promiscuous’.

As well as claims from unknown offspring, the notice may prompt claims from former bandmates or musicians who collaborated with Bowie during his career.

Bowie left nearly half of his money plus his New York apartment to his supermodel wife Iman, 61.

Most of the remaining money was divided between the couple’s daughter, Alexandria Zahra Jones, 16, and Bowie’s son with first wife Angie Bowie, filmmaker Duncan Jones, 45.

Bowie died of cancer aged 69 in January last year.

Bowie visited New Zealand a number of times. Could he have created a child while he was here? We may soon find out!
