Principal photography has begun in New Zealand on the remake of Disney classic "Pete's Dragon", which means it won't be long before Robert Redford is in town.
The re-imagining of the 1977 film will blend live action and CGI, and WETA Digital is charged with bringing the dragon to life.
Filming will take place in locations including Wellington, Rotorua, Tapanui and Invercargill from April.
Other stars in town apart from the 78-year-old Oscar winner include Bryce Dallas Howard and our own Karl Urban.
Wellington's state-of-the-art film facilities have been pivotal in bringing the production here.
