It may have been 53 years since the last film, but for Mary Poppins, that’s merely a step in time.
The magical nanny seemingly hadn’t aged a day as she appeared in her latest incarnation, played by Emily Blunt.
The actress looked practically perfect as she strode around London in a 1930s-style jacket and skirt, blue shoes, and of course, with her all-important umbrella.

The 34-year-old was filming scenes for Mary Poppins Returns, a sequel to the 1964 classic, which is set 20 years on from the original story.
But while Mary Poppins hasn’t aged in the latest film, her two favourite charges Jane and Michael Banks – now played by Ben Wishaw and Emily Mortimer – are all grown up.

However, it seems Michael and Jane have never forgotten their special nanny, as the pair have also been spotted on set holding the kite immortalised in the song Let’s Go Fly A Kite.
Dick Van Dyke, 91, who famously played chimney sweep Bert in the original, is set to return as the bank director’s son, Mr Dawes Jr.
