Sterling Cooper might be about to put out their last ad as the final episodes of Mad Men are due to air but Don Draper’s presence in New York will live on in the form of a commemorative bench.

Star of the show Jon Hamm was there to take a seat on the very special bench alongside fellow cast mates January Jones, Christina Hendricks, John Slattery and Elisabeth Moss.

The bench, which features the infamous outline of the back of Don Drapper with an outstretched arm, was unveiled outside the Time & Life Building, where the show's fictional ad agency, Sterling Cooper, is headquartered.

The bench is one of a number of attractions placed around New York City coinciding with the final season of the internationally acclaimed series.
