Pierce Brosnan shares tribute to Roger Moore

The internet has been filled with tributes dedicated to the late Sir Richard Moore after news broke this morning of his passing.

The late star lost his battle with cancer at age 89, and it is obvious that the news has rocked Hollywood along with the whole film industry.

Tribute posts from the official 007 account, Pierce Brosnan, Paul McCartney, and Duran Duran, who recorded the title track for Moore's 'A View to a Kill', came flooding in after the news broke.

You could tell that Moore left quite an impression on Pierce through his two heartfelt Instagram posts:

To the memory of you both...Sir Roger and Cassie ... to your children and your children's children...love life and always onwards.

Dear Sir Roger Moore, It is indeed with a heavy heart that I hear the news of your passing this morning. You were a big part of my life, from The Saint to James Bond.. .you were a magnificent James Bond and one that lead the way for me, the world will miss you and your unique sense of humor for years to come. My sincerest condolences to your family and children. RIP

Even Aston Martin, the trademark 007 car manufacturer got behind the tributes.
