She has allegedly enforced a 'no ring, no bring' policy to her nuptials - excluding plus-ones who are not married or engaged.

And Pippa Middleton's demands of her wedding guests continues with the news that she has also instructed members of the congregation to bring a second outfit for the evening reception.

According to Daily Mail diarist Richard Eden, the Duchess of Cambridge's younger sister, 33, wants her guests to have a change of clothes for the second leg of her big day on May 30.

Twitter users were quick to react to the news, calling it 'pretentious', 'ridiculous' and 'over the top'.

Fashion writer Simon Glazin commented: 'If I was a guest at this wedding, and right now I'm very glad I'm not, I wouldn't be best pleased with this request.

'It's hard enough to choose your first outfit, let alone for a wedding that will be all over the media. Imagine having to come up with two looks!

'Does Pippa maybe want to offer guests an outfit budget? That's the only fair way of doing this methinks.'

It comes just hours after Pippa's father Michael, 67, was spotted visiting St Mark's Church in Englefield with wife Carole to meet wedding planners Fait Accompli of Chelsea.

When the Duchess of Cambridge tied the knot with Prince William in April 2011, she changed into a second wedding gown for the evening celebrations at Buckingham Palace - so Pippa may well be planning on a change of outfit herself.

Arrangements for Pippa and James' nuptials are set to be more complicated than most as they've reportedly invited so many people to the church that more than 30 guests will have to be seated in the vestry.

A sound system and screen are going to be set up for them to see the happy couple exchange vows.

Another potential adjustment to plans could be the last minute inclusion of Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle.

The Suits actress, 35, was previously rumoured to be off the guest list due to the 'no ring, no bring' policy, meaning unmarried partners of wedding guests are denied an invite.

However, Pippa seems to have had a change of heart and sources say the US actress will accompany her royal boyfriend on the big day.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will act as page boy and bridesmaid, and Pippa is also ‘borrowing’ a number of ideas from sister Kate’s 2011 wedding, in which she stole the show in her form-fitting bridesmaid’s dress.

Local florist Green Parlour in Pangbourne, Berkshire, are providing the flowers and their displays are set to incorporate trees very much in the way that Kate had the knave Westminster Abbey lined with 20ft English field maples.
