At 89-years-old, Sir Roger Moore shows no sign of stopping, as he has expressed his desire to cameo in the next Bond film.

While he hasn't been offered one, he said a future appearance would allow him to “expand the family coffers.”

The past 007 actor has also revealed his two favourite James Bond actors out of the other six to have taken on the famous role.

He said: “I think that Sean (Connery) was obviously the great Bond.

“He was obviously the right person, he brought the right personality to the performance, otherwise Bond would not have gone on past the first six that he did.

"He was a tremendous Bond.”

He also praised Craig’s modern interpretation of the character.

Sir Roger added: “Today, I think we're very lucky to have Daniel Craig because he is quite extraordinary, I always say that Sean looked like a killer — but Daniel Craig would finish it off.

"When I saw Casino Royale, I thought that Daniel Craig did more action in the first seven minutes than I did in seven movies.”

Sir Roger has played 007 in more James Bond films than any other actor, with an impressive run of seven films from 1973-1985.

His last Bond film was A View To A Kill, filmed when he was 57-years-old.
