The Beckham's join fashion elite for the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Gala

Superstar couple Victoria and David Beckham arrived in style for the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Gala at the V&A museum in London.

The glamorous pair were as well turned out as always as they rubbed shoulders with fashion world royalty during the launch event for the retrospective of the late Alexander McQueen’s designs.

Style maven Victoria looked stunning in a black strapless gown from her own collection, which she teamed with dramatic dark make up.

While football legend David showed off his smart side in a well-tailored black dinner suit.

Alexander McQueen, who committed suicide in 2010, apparently banned the former pop star from wearing his clothes and turned down the chance to have her attend his catwalk show.

However, V showed there were no hard feelings and given her meteoric rise to fashion superstardom we think she deserved her place at the event.

Joining the Beckham’s on the red carpet were a host of other fashionable faces including, Colin Firth, Naomi Campbell, Poppy Delevingne, FKA Twigs and of course the eternal darling of the fashion world and Alexander’s good friend Kate Moss.
