The Brad Pitt error you didn't notice on Friends

Superfans have noticed a continuity error in the episode of Friends titled 'The One With The Rumour’.

Which is also referred to as that Brad Pitt episode.

In this episode Brad’s formerly obese character Will Colbert, is invited to Monica’s Thanksgiving dinner.

He presents Monica with a ‘no fat, no sugar, no dairy’ pie. He quickly realised the pie was no fun, and instructed Monica to throw it out.

Instead, she puts it on the dessert table:

The pie can then be seen when Joey walks into Monica's apartment:

As well as when Ross arrives:

At the end of the episode, Joey returns and walks by the dessert table filled with pies.

But, alas, Will's healthy pie was no longer there:

This appears to be a case of a common continuancy error that can be found in many television shows and movies. 

It's also obvious that Friends has been watched far too often on repeat for fans to start noticing this!
