The Duchess of Cambridge was battling the windy weather in London as she attended the Afghanistan Commemoration service at Saint Pauls Cathedral.

The pregnant royal managed to save herself from a pesky wardrobe malfunction by holding down her navy blue dress coat to stop it from blowing up as she walked in the procession towards the central London church.

The Duchess joined her husband Prince William and the rest of the royal family as they gave thanks to those who served in the conflict in Afghanistan including those who lost their lives during the British involvement in the war.
