At last the first official trailer of the Queen and Freddie Mercury biopic, Bohemian Rhapsody has been released online!

The movie has had a long journey with it beginning in 2010, but we now have our first official glimpse at what we can expect from Remi Malik who plays the legendary Freddy Mercury.

Malik wasn't originally set to play Mercury, who died in 1991. Sasha Baron Choen, who is known for his controversial film Borat, was down for the role. However, Sasha had to leave the role because of 'creative differences'.

The film is set to be released on October 24th in the UK and November 1st in New Zealand.

The film's official synopsis is: "Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music, and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury, who defied stereotypes and shattered convention to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film traces the meteoric rise of the band through their iconic songs and revolutionary sound, their near-implosion as Mercury's lifestyle spirals out of control, and their triumphant reunion on the eve of Live Aid, where Mercury, facing a life-threatening illness, leads the band in one of the greatest performances in the history of rock music."

And if the trailer is anything to go by it is going to amazing! The trailer plays a mash-up of some of Queen's greatest hits, including 'Another One Bites the Dust', 'Killer Queen', 'We Will Rock You', and - of course - 'Bohemian Rhapsody'. And it sounds incredible. Take it a listen for yourself and tell us what you think!
