Celine Dion has acquired a lot of wealth from her successful singing career. So much so, that she has now had to acquire a warehouse - to fit your 10,000 pairs of shoes of course.

The Canadian songstress is known for her elegant style and considering the apparent amount of items she has to choose from, it's no longer a surprise.

Celine revealed her excessive shoe collection at the star-studded Met Gala earlier this week, telling Women's Wear Daily that she can't bear to part with old clothing.

"I cannot give anything away because every piece that I buy has brought me to where I am tonight, They're part of every step that I take and I have an attachment to it," she said.

"You can call it crazy. I keep everything, but I just keep buying a bigger [warehouse] space. I have 10,000 pairs of shoes," she added.

But what is even more startling, is the rate at which Dion acquires her footwear. In September 2013 the singer revealed her Florida mansion housed 3,000 pairs of shoes in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

Using maths, we can then calculate that Dion has accumulated 7,000 pairs of shoes in less than four years.

That's 163 pairs a month or, if you want to go even further, five pairs of shoes a day.

She must really love shoes!
