Open invites on Facebook are usually not a good idea however for once this open invite worked out for the better.

Camden Eubank is home schooled due to a speech disorder. The combination of home schooling and his speech impediment have made it difficult for him to make friends. All Camden wanted for his birthday was to have a water-fight.

Knowing it would be difficult to get enough people along to have a good water-fight his mum took to Facebook to advertise the event.

A mother's plea: This is the post Traci Eubank put on Facebook just over a week ago

Word spread quickly, over 300 people - mostly strangers attended the party.

Guests brought water balloons, food, cake and even presents. Some drove as much as 4 hours to attend the party.

This is a birthday Camden will never forget!

'He is the happiest I've seen him in a long time because he has people to play with': Virginia boy Camden Eubank smiles as hundreds of children and their parents arrive for his birthday party on Monday night
The only cake fitting at this party. A 'Minion' cake.

An overwhelming number of people showed up to Troutville Park for Camden's birthday, after a post his mom put on Facebook just over a week ago went viral
5,000 water balloons were used.

Getting involved: The Troutville Fire Department blasted water over the crowd from its fire engine
The local Fire Department showed up to make sure everyone was damp enough.

Inundated: People who couldn't make it to the party sent gifts via Amazon - from all over the world.
Camden recieved over 200 presents from around the world. (sent via Amazon)

Presents came from Brazil, Germany, China and Canada.

Mattel saw the Facebook post and sent a box of toys.

Camden's dream is to become a country singer someone gifted him tickets to see Blake Shelton live in concert.

Both of Camden's parents are stunned by the support complete strangers have shown their son.
